Gratitude Week 12: A Holiday for Giving Thanks

The Canadian Thanksgiving holiday is a special time for my family because it always falls around the same time as the anniversary of our immigration to Canada on October 8. And I am so thankful to have moved to such a beautiful and spacious country, living in the harmonious and multicultural city of Mississauga/Toronto, minutes away from nature's offering of woods, rivers and lakes. I can't imagine how life would be like now if I had stayed in the bustling city of Hong Kong where I was born.

The North American tradition of celebrating Thanksgiving is wonderful. Counting our blessings help us to realize what abundance we live in, which in turn makes us even more thankful, a win-win situation. So what are you grateful for this Thanksgiving? Please share by leaving a comment here! And have a Happy Thanksgiving!! :D

  1. Plus it’s an excuse to eat some kickass turkey!

Unfortunately my country does not have Thanksgiving, we have to wait till Christmas for an excuse to be nice. :P

  2. Indeed it is!! :D You're welcome to join me in Canada for Thanksgiving dinner next year or whenever you like... in return would you be my tour guide when I visit UK? It's definitely on top of my places-to-visit list! :)
