My big 30th birthday is coming up in two days, on Friday, April 30th, 2010, and my true Love has been sending me gifts just like they sing in the song The Twelve Days of Christmas. This new edition is shorter but contains more gifts, I've dubbed it "The Six Days of Teacupfest."
On the first day of Teacupfest (Saturday, April 24th)
my true Love sent to me:
1) a 60% discount on my VIA Rail ticket to Ottawa!
On the second day of Teacupfest (Sunday, April 25th)
my true Love sent to me:
1) a lovely time meeting new friends at the High Park Cherry Blossom festival
2) two boxes of abandoned Chocolate Mint Girl Guide Cookies
On the third day of Teacupfest (Monday, April 26th)
my true Love sent to me:
1) a custom-made 19 inch necklace with a lavender crystal pendant from mom
2) a glimpse of my favourite food writer Corey in Kensington Market
3) a lovely lunch at Wanda's Pie in the Sky
On the fourth day of Teacupfest (Tuesday, April 27th)
my true Love sent to me:
1) a sleep aid meditation track from Lucas
2) an invitation to watch May I Be Frank from Jason
3) Free Day Night at Milestones Restaurant on Wednesday, April 28th
4) DVD release of The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus
This is the fifth day of Teacupfest (Wednesday, April 28th)
and so far my true Love has sent to me:
1) a perfect birthday card for Jessica
2) a beautiful orange butterfly magnet admired at a gift shop
3) a giant-headed blue monkey with a heart of gold from Aunty Joan
